Marketing Coordinator

About Us:

We’re on a mission to bring the power of modern marketing to B2B technical industries, so they can achieve greater success. For over a decade, we’ve helped B2B marketers in technical, industrial and manufacturing industries accelerate growth through highly effective websites and powerful digital marketing.

About the Opportunity:

Windmill Strategy is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team to be the core driver of marketing efforts for our own agency. This role is expected to be 60% focused on marketing Windmill “as a client” and 40% focused on billable/client work in the areas of expertise of this individual and role with remaining capacity.

This role is responsible for the execution, management, and continuous improvement of Windmill Strategy’s marketing plan, which is the primary driver of qualified leads and new business opportunities for our agency. This includes the execution of all company marketing initiatives, which include inbound, SEO, Social, and ABM-focused initiatives, while monitoring analytics, metrics and performance, and identifying areas of growth and opportunity. The individual works closely with sales and leadership to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with sales efforts—so that sales and marketing work hand-in-hand to generate high-quality leads from marketing that are nurtured by sales into closed deals that contribute to the company’s goals of sustainable growth and profitability.

This is a remote/work-from-home position, on a fully distributed team.

About You:

You are an advocate and go-to expert for all things related to marketing for the company including, but not limited to: content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), Google Analytics, ABM campaigns, email campaigns, social media marketing, copywriting/editing/proofing, and managing/updating the content of the company website. You understand how each tactic in a marketing plan works and how all digital tactics work together to form a comprehensive program that aligns with our business priorities.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work with a team of writers and contractors, and generate & assign topics in collaboration with the sales & leadership team, and manage content production from concept through publication.
