Monico’s previous website, built on the Joomla platform and expanded piecemeal over 12 years, had become a major constraint. The site’s structure was difficult to update, poorly optimized for mobile devices, and limited in its ability to support modern marketing efforts. As Monico shifted from primarily selling legacy hardware to promoting advanced remote condition monitoring solutions, the existing site failed to convey this evolution. Key offerings, like the new mCoreSDR gateway and real-time analytics capabilities, were buried or underexplained. The messaging didn’t speak clearly to distinct audience segments such as C-suite decision-makers, reliability engineers, and IT professionals, each of whom approaches Monico’s solutions from a different perspective. Solution: A Strategic Redesign Showcased Monico’s Evolution from Hardware to High-Tech Intelligence

Windmill Strategy led a complete website overhaul, beginning with a UX and content strategy that addressed the unique needs of Monico’s target audiences. We restructured the site to more clearly segment solutions, products, and industries, aligning navigation with buyer intent and ensuring each visitor type could quickly find relevant information. We transitioned the site from Joomla to WordPress, using its native block editor to create a flexible, easy-to-manage backend for Monico’s team. We developed new content across the site, including detailed FAQs and revised product and industry pages that support SEO while enhancing user understanding.
