Q: How does Windmill manage its projects?

Our approach to project management includes a combination of tried-and-true processes, state-of-the-art software, and experienced project managers, all aligned to deliver quality work that meets and exceeds goals, on time and on-budget. Every project has a dedicated project manager that will oversee the project every step of the way, and serve as your primary point of contact. They will have regular check-ins with you to ensure any roadblocks and concerns are cleared as soon as possible.

Each week our project account managers gather as a team and review real-time data and reports within our project management system (Liquid Planner), ensuring that projects are on-track to meet priorities, deadlines, and project budgets. This tool accounts for actual staff availability, allows us to make scheduling predictions, and ensure that any potential issues are dealt with proactively, so there are no surprises.

We’d rather underpromise and overdeliver than the reverse. With over a decade of experience, we’ve gotten very accurate at estimating how long a project will take and we will never promise an unrealistic deadline for the sake of winning a project.
