A UX and website refresh for a top law firm

Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben is a top personal injury law firm that needed Windmill Strategy to freshen up their website to better reflect their overall brand and messaging, while increasing engagement across the site. To accomplish this goal, Windmill worked closely with the internal SEO team and developers at Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben to revitalize the site and augment its SEO value by analyzing analytics that would impact UX and content changes to ultimately increase overall engagement on the site.

Windmill Strategy redesigned the Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben website within the existing content management system (CMS). This site-wide refresh leveraged several page templates and styled global elements such as the header, footer and fonts. A few of the biggest UX changes included streamlining forms, adding a call to action in the footer, reordering secondary navigation and adding a sidebar to make a conversion path more fluid. All of the UX changes took into consideration mobile devices, creating an easy-to-navigate mobile experience for users, keeping them on the site longer. Windmill also incorporated social sharing icons as a ‘sticky’ element that would stay on all pages, across desktop and mobile, to encourage users to share content. Overall, Windmill created a refreshed website that reflected the overall Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben brand, while also increasing overall engagement on the site.
