About The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to join our fully remote team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a strategist who can see the big picture while being laser-focused on SEO, guiding impactful initiatives across local, national, and international markets. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including account/project managers and digital specialists, to provide clients with comprehensive SEO strategies that align with their broader business objectives and drive measurable growth in visibility and lead generation.
This is a remote/WFH position, on a collaborative fully virtual team. This is a contract, project-based position where hours may ebb and flow week-to-week (average 5-20 hours/week).
About You:
You are a strategic SEO professional with a solid foundation in both technical and content-based SEO. You bring years of B2B experience to the table, ideally within technical or industrial markets, and have a knack for aligning SEO tactics with high-level marketing strategies. With a collaborative mindset and strong communication skills, you’re comfortable presenting SEO insights to clients and stakeholders and collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive and effective SEO implementations.

- Local, National, and International SEO Experience: Proven success in creating tailored SEO strategies that maximize reach and relevance for clients at all geographic levels.
- Data-Driven Insights: Experienced in using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and more to analyze data, assess SEO performance, and make informed recommendations.
- Sales Process Support: Ability to provide high-level SEO insights, conduct initial site and competitor audits, and deliver strategic recommendations that support the sales process.
- Communication Skills: You excel at both verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex marketing concepts to clients with a variety of levels of knowledge. You can easily and comfortably facilitate client meetings, negotiate effectively, and influence project stakeholders to create win-win solutions.

You Will:
- Develop and implement customized SEO strategies for B2B clients across local, national, and international markets, driving growth in search visibility, organic traffic, and conversions.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to identify and prioritize opportunities for optimization.
- Assist in the sales process, providing preliminary SEO audits and participating in prospect meetings to present SEO strategies and recommendations.
- Partner with account/project managers to support client onboarding and set clear SEO objectives and expectations.
- Provide hands-on technical SEO guidance for website projects, including site structure, on-page optimizations, mobile optimization, and page speed improvements.
- Oversee SEO audits, reporting, and recommendations to ensure adherence to best practices, identifying ongoing optimization opportunities for clients.
- Collaborate with the content, design, and development teams to align SEO with broader marketing strategies and support lead generation and conversion optimization.
- Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to strategies for continuous improvement.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to clients, serving as their trusted advisor on SEO best practices.
- Work on a team with other SEO and digital marketing individuals, or act as the primary SEO resource, on an account-by-account basis.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry advancements to maintain cutting-edge strategies for clients.
Your Skills and Background:
- 8-10 years of SEO experience, preferably in a B2B setting, with a strong understanding of the technical and industrial sectors.
- 3+ years of relevant experience within a digital marketing agency.
- Demonstrated success in implementing local, regional/national, and international SEO strategies.
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools, including Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and strong technical SEO expertise.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that align with client business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
